Rick left this life and moved onto his final resting place on February 26, 2022. Per his wishes, he passed in his home peacefully along side his wife and daughter. He left behind his wife of 38 years, Carmen. They recently celebrated their wedding anniversary on February 18th. Also leaving behind his one daughter Kristin (Mark) Bilski. His two sons, Jason (Julie) Peltola and Kevin (Heather) Carr. His most prized possessions, his four very special grandchildren- Kenny, Aamyla, Treyson, and Jacob. His sister, Nancy Bilski. Two sister-in-laws, Kathy Dickerson and Vicky Bilski. His cousin Mike Colley- who has always been more of a brother than a cousin. In addition to several nieces, nephews and his buddy, his dog, Sully. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Bilski, Dolly Bilski (Spicuzza) and his brother Steve Bilski. Rick served in the Army from 1969-1971 in Vietnam. He received an early and honorable discharge after being wounded. He always was a hard worker, doing what he loved most establishing his own business, Rick's Installations. He was a finishing sub-contractor in the housing industry. He retired in 2014. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, riding his Harley, and spending time with friends. He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten. We will be having a Celebration of Life Memorial on March 26, 2022 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm. This will be held at Old Kent Custer VFW 830 Post. Located at 557 11th Street NW Grand Rapids.
