It is with great sadness that we inform you that Richard Kenneth Albrecht passed away January 9th, 2025 after a brief illness.

Rick was an Air force veteran, an owner of HELDERS MOTOR SERVICE Co. of Chicago, IL, and finished his career as an employee of B.L.DUKE Recycling. Rick oversaw and mentored a new generation of heavy hauling specialists with their heavy hauling division.

Rick is survived by Blanche Albrecht. Father to Richard K Jr., David Joseph (Cindy), Gary Michael (Jill), Michael Thomas (Selena) Albrecht.

Stepfather to Marla Husch (Ken) and Christina Schneider. Brother of Bob (Joan), Ron (Pam) Albrecht. Grandfather of Emily, Ada, Cassandra, Spencer, Sydney, and Aiden Albrecht, Andrew, Mia, Ethan Husch. Uncle to Mark Albrecht, Laura Warnke and Robert Martin.

He will be greatly missed.
