Rhonda Dee Thompson, age 40, passed away surrounded by family and friends on May 5, 2018. Rhonda was born on November 9, 1977 in Hastings, Michigan to Ronald Thompson and Linda Guernsey. Rhonda was living in Wayland, Michigan at the time of her death. She spent a brief period of her life living in Nashville, Tennessee and always considered the area home. Rhonda loved nothing more than to spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Emmaleigh Mennell and Aleesha (Dereck) Shattuck; significant other, Doug Wilkie; brothers Rick and Rodney Thompson; several family members and close friends. Rhonda also leaves behind step-children from her previous marriage, Kelsey, Jakob, Matt, and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Brenda Kotesky. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 12:00 p.m. at Bible Missionary Church in Hastings. A luncheon will follow at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Hastings.
