Rev Harry & Janice Bultema, faith -filled servants of the Lord, ages 89 & 87, passed away peacefully within days of each other. Both were born in Grand Rapids, MI and were married for 65 years and had a life together marked by devotion to family and their calling as teachers of the Gospel. They are with their Lord & Savior for eternity.

They leave behind a legacy of love and faith in their family, including Debby & Randy (late husband) Matthysse, Tim & June Bultema and Steve & Amy Bultema along with 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Their life was a testament to the power of a strong foundation, a value they instilled in their children.

Harry had pastored churches for more than 50 years with Jan as his helpmate, working side by side with him. He was called to teach the gospel and she was great with children and young people teaching them the Bible through  story telling. Harry also served on mission boards, was a Navy veteran and carpenter. Jan worked for over 40 years at Grace Ministries International and Bible Doctrines to Live By and loved being a mother and grandmother. She was so proud of her family.

Today, we do not say goodbye but rather "Until we meet again." For we know that in the house of the Lord, there was a place prepared for Harry & Jan, where they will dwell in the glory of God's love for all eternity. Let us find comfort in this promise and celebrate the blessed life of Harry & Jan true servants of Christ, loving parents, cherished by family & friends.

A celebration of life will be on  Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1260 Chicago Drive, Jenison, MI 49428. The family will be receiving friends before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the celebration and an Honor Guard ceremony.
