Rene' Beth
Stanloski
May 8, 1961 – April 12, 2026
Rene' Beth Stanloski, a woman of profound compassion and sharp wit, passed away from heart failure on April 12, 2026. Born on May 8, 1961 in Big Rapids, MI to Dolores and Herb Stanloski, Rene' lived a life defined by her dedication to others and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. For sixteen years, she served as a dialysis technician, her career was defined by her steady hands and compassionate heart, providing comfort and vital care to those facing difficult health journeys. Her colleagues and those she cared for will remember her as a friend to laugh with as well as a steady, comforting presence during their most difficult hours.
At home, Rene' found her greatest joy in the company of her beloved cat, Ziggy, and the many friends she considered family. She was a woman of many talents and interests; she could often be found in the kitchen preparing a meal, lost in the melodies of her favorite music, or focused intently on a crossword puzzle. She possessed a keen mind and a vibrant spirit that drew people to her, making every gathering a bit brighter with her presence and her cooking. Rene's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends who became family over the years. She is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Stanloski and father, Herb Stanloski. Rene' is survived by her daughter, Hannah Vrooman; her mother, Dolores Stanloski; her brothers, Monte and Cem Stanloski; sister-in-law, Beth Stanloski; and nieces and nephews, Kelli Stanloski, Marc Stanloski, Kieren Marshall, and Molly Jones. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, from the patients she comforted to the friends who shared in her laughter and love of life.
In accordance with Rene’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. Instead, the family invites you to create a living memorial for her through the music she so dearly loved. Whether you turn up the radio to a song that reminds you of her or spend a quiet moment lost in a favorite album, she would be honored to know that music continues to bring people together. For those who wish to make a gesture in her name, the family requests that donations be made to hospice care in gratitude for the comfort and peace they provide.
