Rebecca Lynn (Proulx) Thomas of Grand Rapids Michigan died Sunday November 19, 2023 at 58 years old after a cardiac event.

Rebecca was born in Mount Clemens and raised in Richmond, Michigan. She was the first of her family to attend college and was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and the Detroit College of Law. She has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since 1998. Married in 1990, she was a loving dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed working in her garden, celebrating holidays and being with family.

Rebecca ("Becky") always remembered fondly her trip to Pompeii and the rest of Italy. She loved her cats, despite allergies. She loved black-eyed susans, her lilac bushes and growing tomatoes, cherries and strawberries. Her entire life she remained close with her sisters and brother. Most of all she loved and adored her children and truly lived for them.

She can now be at peace with her Lord.

She is survived by her husband Grover and two sons Grover Jr and Leo.
