WOJTOWICZ, RAYMOND JOHN, age 83, of Mears, Michigan, passed away from cancer on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 at home. He was born February 10, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan, moving from Hazel Park, Mich. to retire in Mears, Mich. Ray was a veteran of the Korean War. He most recently worked part time for the Oceana County Road Commission. He enjoyed tending to his estate. Ray was an avid lover of animals and all things cowboy including his western attire and boots. Family and friends will miss his sense of humor. He will love his wife, Veronica (Kurpas) "forever and a day". They were married for 60 years. He is also survived by their children, Karen (John) Carley of Canton, Mich., Joan (Jack) Agosta of Roseville, Mich. Predeceased by Donna (David) Hawley of Camp Verde, Arizona. Survived by D. Lynn (Rob Lempinen) Wojtowicz of Camp Verde, Arizona and Robert (Bill) Wojtowicz-Shoebottom of Lenox, Mich. He had 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
