Raymond Thomas Siekirk of Wayland passed peacefully at home on July 11, 2021. Ray was born in Grand Rapids on October 8th, 1953, to Emma and Raymond Siekirk. Throughout his life, Ray worked as a die caster, warehouse manager, and a computer technician. He also was a proud member of the United States Navy and served on the USS Hunley. Ray will be remembered by his wife Geraldine "Geri", his children, who made him very proud, Ray Jr, Katie (Matt) and stepson Jeffrey Glupker, Grandchildren; Blaine, Annabella and Logan, Siblings; Patricia Peterson, Diane Wolford (Tom), Renay Smith (Bruce), Shirley Allen (Lee), his special niece April and her son Christopher, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Unfortunately Raymond's brother John passed away shortly after Raymond. The family will be doing a private celebration for John at a later date. A memorial service with military honors and celebration of life will be held August 28, 2021 at the Salem Township Park located at 3003 142nd, Dorr MI 49323. Service will begin at 5 pm on the northwest lawn of the park. After the memorial service, dinner will be served inside the hall. This will be a time to celebrate and remember Raymond. Donations can be made directly to the family to assist with the cost of services.
