Raymond Arthur Johnson passed away at his home on November 20, 2022. He was 84 years old. Ray is survived by his wife, Ellen, of 62 years, his daughter, Amy Stone of Lakewood, OH, his son Ryan Johnson of Pasadena, CA, his sister Judy Kenny and granddaughters Melody and Harmony Stone. He was proceeded in death by his father and mother, George and Evelyn (nee Johnston) Johnson.

Ray attended Ottawa Hills High School, where he enjoyed playing tuba in the band. He also went to Burton School for a mechanical class, which led to an apprenticeship in tool and die at Pridgeon and Clay. He later went into sales as a vendor to auto related companies.

After 45 years he retired from P&C and went to work part time on a horse farm helping in the running of the farm day to day.

As a hobby, Ray restored a 1953 MG and then began collecting and restoring old tractors. He loved his family and home and working in his workshop, and enjoyed his friends in the Wednesday morning breakfast group.

A graveside burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in May is planned for family and friends.
