February 8, 2015 Ray Fries (age 84) passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. Ray is survived by his children Linda Mosher, Sharon (Ken) Thomas, Cindy (Tom) Breen, Sandy (Mark) Larson, Christy Rau, Rusty (Missy) Fries, 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers Alvin (Carol) Fries, Don (Carol) Fries; sister Marilyn Sidlauskas; sisters-in-law Winona DeRoos and Naomia Gilbert; and brother-in-law Walter Kilts. Ray was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Marcia; parents Carl and Helen Fries; mother and father-in-law Alvin and Etta Le Munyon; sister Dorothy Kilts; brothers-in-law Richard DeRoos, Neil Gilbert, and Bob Sidlauskas; and son-in-law Mark S. Rau. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12 at Rockford United Methodist Church, 159 Maple Street Rockford. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.
