It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randall Joseph Reed Atchley, who departed this world on April 7th, 2026, at the age of 40.

Randy, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on April 11, 1985, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he grew into a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend.

Throughout his life, Randy enjoyed music, adventures, amusement parks, friends, and most importantly, his family.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Atchley, his children, Christopher and Michael Atchley, stepchildren, Arianna and Miguel C. Aquilor, and his mother, Brenda Anderson. As well as his sisters, Cara Reich and partner, Vicky Espinosa, and Kristy Welch, and her wife, Bobbie Welch, and an army of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Pierce.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Ofield Funeral Home, of which the address is 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508, where his family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and pay tribute to a life lived.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm, with the funeral immediately following at 6pm. Burial will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery.

Though Randy is no longer with us, the light he brought into this world remains; in every shared memory, in every lesson taught, and in every heart touched by him and the undeniable love he gave to the people in his life.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
