Randolph John Steadman (Randy) of Cedar Springs, MI, passed away Monday, September 27 at 4:20 pm in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.

Randy was born to Maxine and Doug Steadman on June 28th,1962. Randy was a loving and devoted husband to Tammy for 37 years.

Randy is survived by the love of his life, Tammy Steadman. Children Jessica (Kristopher) Kent and Randolph (Jaden) Steadman. His mother Maxine Steadman. Siblings Rick (Tina) Steadman, Ruth (Lester) Moyers, Ron (Irene) Steadman, and Becki (David) Simington. Grandchildren Randolph, Mckenzee, Bentlee and identical twins due in April, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Randy was a steadfast and loyal employee at Dave Cole Decorators for over 25 years and was given the opportunity to paint nearly every noteworthy building in the Grand Rapids skyline, including the iconic "La Grande Vitesse" known to many as the "Calder."

Randy will be missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his loud, outspoken personality, his compassion for everyone, and his honorable and impeccable character which never wavered.

When Randy was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, fishing with his buddies, and tinkering in his pole barn on his endless list of projects.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Gladys Chittenden, and nephew Nicholas Simington.

Services for Randy will be at Belmont Baptist Church. Viewing on Friday, October 1st from 6-8 pm. Services on Saturday, October 2nd with visitation from 10-11 am and service starting at 11-12. Luncheon to follow at the church. Service Details. Visitation
