Randy left this world in peace on May 12, 2021. He is reunited with his son, Bill Flory, his beloved grandmother, Esther Buzas, and mother, Rose Burman. Randy retired from the US Navy as Data Communications Manager. After that he resided in Scotland for some years. Later Randy returned to his home country, the United States, where Randy became a Computer Science Professor at Southwestern Michigan College. Randy was known for entertaining his students with stories from his past travels and experiences. He adored his pet Basset Hounds.

He leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Richard and Cheryl Feirick. He also leaves behind a niece, Kayla Feirick, two nephews Kris Vandyke and Ricky Feirick, cousins, friends, and tons of people who loved him. He will be dearly missed and will be always remembered.
