Paula Louise (Stewart) Butler, age 73, of Byron Center, passed away on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024.

Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael D. Butler; her parents, Robert and Patricia Stewart; and her brother, Robert Jr. Paula's legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Mike "Bubba" (Beverly) and Tim (Katie); her sister, Marcia (Ron) Berends; her grandchildren, Brittney, Alexander, Tristen, Paige, Billie, and Dale; and her three great-grandsons. Paula was also deeply loved by many nieces & nephews, and her most cherished niece, Jenny, who was more like the daughter she never had.

A proud retiree from Spartan Foods, where she dedicated over a decade of service in Accounts Payable. Her love extended beyond her professional life; it was most evident in the way she cared for her in-laws and spent time with her family. Paula had a special fondness for travel, relished moments with her grandchildren, and had a whimsical affection for snowmen, delighting in the annual tradition of decorating her front yard with a snowman family each winter. She also enjoyed visiting Grand Haven Beach, where she found peace and happiness.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Paula's life will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, at 11:00 AM at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI. Visitation will be on Monday, August 26th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75231. The family also extends their heartfelt thanks to Faith Hospice for their care and compassion, particularly Stephanie and Jennifer.
