Paul William Kerastas, age 91 (Forever 29 in our hearts), passed away on Tuesday April 28, 2026, in Grand Rapids, MI. Paul was born in Detroit, MI on November 9,1934 the son of Vasilios Ioanis and Winnie (Edmonds) Kerastas. He was preceded in death by his parents Vasilios and Winnie, Brother George and his wife Loraine and Brother John and his wife Vera.

Paul was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan. He lived most of his life in Grand Rapids, MI where he worked for World Book Encyclopedia and owned several businesses over the years. He was a photographer, artist, entrepreneur and simply one of a kind. Survivors include his children Michael (Anna Marie) Kerastas of Ann Arbor, MI and Susan (Eduardo) Blanc of Kalamazoo, MI.

Other survivors include grandchildren Kelly (Patrick) Simpkins, Amanda (Scott) Peck, Nicholas Kerastas, Melissa (Aaron) Young, David (Alexis) McKeown; four great grandchildren Mason Peck, Mia Peck, Elias McKeown, Atlas McKeown; multiple nieces and nephews; and his dear friend Bobbi Bannister.

A Celebration of Life is planned for later this summer.
