Paul Carlos Burton (Skip),?73, of?Grand Rapids, MI passed away peacefully on?May 7, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure and COPD. He was born to the late Carlos and Lois Burton, January, 2, 1948 in Cambridge Ohio. Paul graduated from Cambridge High School in 1966 and then attended The Ohio State University to pursue his passion in engineering. While attending OSU, Paul was a member of The Ohio State Marching Band, which allowed him to continue his love for music. This love of music and the BDBITL…O-H… continued throughout his life. He married Beth Burton in 2001, and they lived together in Grand Rapids, MI. After marriage Paul and Beth spent much of their free time traveling. In particular, they enjoyed traveling to St. Martin and New Orleans. Paul's love for his children and grandchildren was unwavering.

Paul is survived by his wife Beth (Den Besten) Burton: sister Sally Stroede: brother Mark Burton: children: Josh Burton, Sabrina Burton, and Troy Hyma, and their children. He was preceded in death by his sister Jacqui Gress.
