Patty Lee Swanson, 67, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Born on April 15, 1958, in Grand Rapids, Patty lived a life full of love, creativity, and family devotion.

A devoted wife and mother, Patty cherished her role as a homemaker and found joy in making her home a warm and welcoming place for those she loved. She had a creative spirit, a flair for decorating, and a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. Patty loved hummingbirds, adored horses, and was known for her strong opinions and generous heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Swanson; her children, Aubriana, Ian, and Elijah Swanson; her mother, Patsy Thomas and mother in law Dolores Swanson; her sister, Mary Saylor and her best friend since childhood Michelle Lemmon along with her husband Herb Lemmon. Patty also joins in memory her aunt Mary Jo Saylor and uncle Bud Saylor, who preceded her in death.

Patty's family and friends will remember her warmth, her creativity, and the boundless love she poured into her home and family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A small memorial service will be held to celebrate her life. Details will be shared with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover cremation and a small memorial service, so her life may be honored properly.
