Patrick David McGough, 49, Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, June 21, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Patrick was born August 21, 1967, in Woodbury, NJ and had lived in several states prior to settling in Michigan. Patrick graduated from both St John of God in Westville, NJ & The Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, SC. He greatly enjoyed sports and was a multiple medal winner in the Special Olympics. Among his other interests were basketball, bowling, watching television, and dancing. He also loved his pets Candy and Garfield. He is survived by his father, David McGough (Birmingham, AL), brothers Christopher (Bloomington, IL) and David (Westerville, OH), nieces Virginia (El Paso, IL), Elizabeth (Lexington, IL), Molly (Westerville, OH) and nephew David (Westerville, OH), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Lynn (nee Miller), grandparents Henry & Virginia McGough of Bellmawr, NJ and George & Ruth Miller of Cherry Hill, NJ. Private services will be held.
