Patrick "Pat" G. Alderton of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 67, passed away on January 13, 2022. He was born to Gerald and Helen (Muste) Alderton on September 18, 1954. Pat was a 1973 graduate of Northview High School.

Pat was liked by many, fun to be around, and had lifelong friends. He was an intelligent, hardworking man who possessed many skills and talents. He was passionate and dedicated to his career as a CNC Machinist at Commercial Tool and Die. He was a devoted son, father, and grandfather. In his free time, Pat enjoyed spending time with his mother, children, and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by his mother, Helen Alderton; his loving children, Scott Alderton, Ken (Trina) Alderton, Mallory Alderton, Sandra (Brady) Trombley, Mary Jo Sheppard; his adored grandchildren, Abigail Alderton, Dulcinea Alderton, Eddison Alderton, Owen Nichols, Phiona Spicer, Marlee Spicer, Kianna Huffman, Landen Huffman, Evan Huffman, Cohen Huffman, Laura Ward, and Claire Ward; his brother Mark (Lisa) Alderton; nephew, Travis Alderton; niece, Casey Alderton; Pat was preceded in death by his father, Gerald V. Alderton; infant brother, Gerald Adin Alderton; Maternal and Paternal grandparents.
