Sadly, Patricia Taylor of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away peacefully, near her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's on January 29, 2022.

Pat was born in 1946 in London England, later immigrated to Canada in 1957 at the age of 11. Pat resided in Chatham, Ontario for 33 years, moving to the United States in 1990 allowing her husband, Reg to continue his 30-year career at Siemens Automotive in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her devoted parents, Stanley and Joan Young and most recently her younger brother Brian, whom she adored.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Reg. Their endearing love story began as high school sweethearts and continued ardently for over 61 years.

Pat is also survived by her children Kimberly, Elizabeth and son-in-law Bradley Thomas, her younger sister Lindsey Geroux (Murray), sister-in-law Valerie (Rolfes) Young, devoted grandchildren Sophie (Love Bud #1) and Jason Frederick, Evan (Love Bud #2) Thomas and Talulah (Love Bud #3) Stvan. She also held dear her four nieces and nephews Mark, Corey, Domino, and Connor.

Pat was known for her kind heart, beauty, and continuous sense of humor. She was loved by many, always eager to put a smile on your face (one way or another!) even in her later years battling Dementia. She relished dancing, fun, and laughter with her family and friends. She never lost her thankfulness, kind words, or appreciation of others during her battle, making care for her as undemanding as possible.

Patricia worked for physicians all her adult life, primarily Dr. Blake Barlow and Dr. Peter Sheldrick in Chatham, Ontario (20 years) followed by Dr. Steven Wagner in Clarkston, Michigan. (5 years). She loved every minute of helping patients and their families, taking pride in the difference she made in their lives.

In retirement, Pat and Reg moved to their winter home in Estero, Florida. Pat loved Pelican Sound and embraced it as their permanent home for over 14 years where friends and neighbors became extended family.

Pat spent her last year of her life with her husband Reg in Grand Rapids, Michigan living close to their daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Brad.

Patricia chose to have no public service, only wanting others to remember the great times spent together. A memorial service will be held with her immediate family.
