With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother Patricia Dionne (Sims) Ryan. She was born in 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Carl and Bernadine Sims.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Leo Ryan. She is survived by her daughter Shannon Bouwens, grandchildren Justin Sims (Christie Berry), Sarena (Kelly) Mills, Christina (Scott) Lasher, Chad Bouwens, and Daniel Bouwens and great-grandchildren, Briana, Jacob, Jocelyn, Carter and Lincoln.

Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially babysitting her grandchildren. You could often find her outside tending her garden, feeding her birds and chasing the squirrels! Patricia also loved her church family at Rivertown Assembly of God. She volunteered at Street Light Mission for 20 years feeding the less fortunate.

A Celebration of Life honoring Patricia will take place on Saturday, February 15th at 11:00 am at Rivertown Assembly of God Church with Pastor Keith Berquist officiating. 3260 52nd ST SW, Wyoming, MI 49418.

A luncheon will follow the service, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and share cherished memories of Patricia's life.
