Patricia Faye Rabourn, 88, went home to be with her Lord and was reunited with her husband, Charles, on Nov. 14, 2025.

Born Patricia Faye Humphrey on December 9, 1936, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to DeWard and Elsie Humphrey, she moved frequently in her early years and attended many schools, spending most of her childhood in the Newaygo and Muskegon areas. After marrying Charles Rabourn, she made her home in Wyoming, Michigan, where she lived until her passing.

Written from the hearts of her Four Boys:

"Pat & Chuck," Mom and Dad, were married for 41 years, from March 16, 1957, until Dad's passing on December 3, 1997. Along with raising four boys, Mom worked full time for Model Coverall in Grand Rapids for 50 years. She somehow still found the energy to teach Sunday School, serve as a Cub Scout Den Mother, help with schoolwork & projects, and show up for every practice, game, church activity, job, and event, and never complained. OK, she sometimes did, but she was ALWAYS there because she just loved spending time with us. Mom also loved to oil paint and draw with charcoals.

Mom taught us right from wrong (although we did not always follow), the value of respecting others (we got whooped if we didn't), and most importantly, she led us to our love for Jesus Christ. We will miss her deeply, but we rejoice that her suffering has ended and that she is now at peace in her eternal home.

Family
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, DeWard and Elsie Humphrey; brothers Duane, Rick, and DeWard Jr.; sister Carol Ditmar; granddaughter Patricia Olien; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who she talked highly of right up until her last days.

She is survived by her four sons:

• Brian (Dorothy) of Jenison, MI
• Daniel (Beth) of Gaines Township, MI
• James (Siriporn) of Caledonia, MI

She is also survived by her brother, Gary Humphrey (Pat), as well as many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren:

Services
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00–11:00 AM at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. A funeral service and luncheon will follow at 11:00 AM.
