Patricia Lou Smith left our world on November 14th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her sister Charlene Willemstein and her beloved daughter, Amy Lynn Smith. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laurie (Don) LaBelle and Mike Patty) Smith; her grandchildren, Tracy (Marcus), Don (Cheryl), Drew, Andy (Shawn), David (Liz), Lyndsay (Brian), Holly (Jared), Viki and her eleven great-grandchildren. Pat was the grandma that hosted fun overnights and cherished her time with all of her grandchildren. Pat worked the majority of her life in government accounting, working her last 15 years as Deputy Finance Officer for the City of Kentwood. Once retired, she began volunteering at the Rustic Market, a great fit for her love of helping others. Pat's faith was very important to her and her life exemplified the generous spirit of Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, November 20th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE in Kentwood) Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am with a luncheon immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Hospice or Rustic Market (in care of Pine Rest Foundation)
