Patricia Jean Cook passed at home with her family at her bedside on March 28, 2022. Pat was Born in Howard City, MI on April 17th, 1949, to parents Bud and Viola Kerns (Lucht)

Pat loved spending all her spare time bargain shopping for all the furniture that she could refurbish, repurpose, and resell. Her and her partner of many years, Jim Cole, were also masters of indoor potted plants, loving to send young plants home with family and friends to flourish or with Vicki to just fade away.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Bud Kerns (father), Viola and Ben (Luchts) mother and stepfather), as well as stepbrothers Ben and Marsh Luchts. Surviving Pat, her sisters Kim Kerns and Kelly Kerns-Maser, her children Jerry Cook and Vicki (Cook) & Doug Edwards, her granddaughter Nikkita Cook and great grandsons Bryson and Reagan.

Per Pat's wishes, there will be no visitation, graveside visit nor celebration of life. Mom also requested that there would be no flowers or gifts sent. She has chosen to have her ashes spread at her favorite places by her children and grandchildren. Service Details.
