Owen Hudson Russ of Kentwood, Michigan, age 16, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 5, 2019, Owen was a fierce competitor. He felt most alive on the football field. Owen will be lovingly remembered by his momma, Jackie and dad, Kenny Mills; his Grammy Rudy Russ and Papa Jim Russ; aunts and uncles, Adam and Becky Russ (and their children Ashlee and Addison), Jason Russ, Robin Mills-Jones, Nicole Calamese, and many other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Be Nice Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan, or HQ Runaway and Homeless Drop-In Center.
