Nancy Pearce Truelove of Portage, Michigan went home to be with The Lord on October 3rd, 2019 at age 85. Nancy was born to Myron and Mary (Shockney) Pearce on February 3rd, 1934 in Van Wert, Ohio. Nancy was a resident of Bloomington, Indiana for over forty years. In 2016, Nancy moved from Bloomington, Indiana to be near her family in Portage, Michigan. Nancy was a dedicated speech and hearing pathologist in the Indiana school system for over forty years. She held her masters in Speech therapy from Ohio University. She was also a loving dedicated mother to her daughter Holly. Affectionately called Grams, Nancy loved spending time with her four grandchildren and two grand "dogs", Chloe and Harper. Nancy was a steadfast attender of Calvary Bible Church. She loved being active with her bible study group and Sunday school class as well as serving. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Nancy joins both her parents and the love of her life Raymond H. Barrick in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter Holly Sweis (and her husband Mirdad) as well as her four grandchildren Zachary, Jackson, Kathryn and Madison Kinney. On Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at 11:30 am a luncheon and a time of fellowship will be held at Calvary Bible Church (855 South Drake Road Kalamazoo, MI) with a Celebration of Life Ceremony to follow promptly at 1 pm. There will be a private graveside service for immediate family at Greenville Union Cemetary in Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Calvary Bible Church Young at Heart Ministry.
