September 30, 2011 Service: October 6, 2011 Nancy Shumard, age 64, passed away Friday, September 30th after a two year battle with cancer. Nancy is survived by her husband Clason; son Jeffrey (Amy) Mantia; stepdaughters Deidra (Joseph) Drumm, Kathy Michela, and Tiffany Shumard; grandchildren Steven and William Mantia; and brother and sister Jerry (Jo) Gilbert and Jill (Jeff) Dimon. Nancy was a member of the 1995 International Champion Sweet Adeline's Quartet Weekend Edition. She was also director of several Sweet Adeline choruses in Michigan and Tennessee. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 6th at 2 pm at the Ofield Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday.
