Nancy G. Menich, age 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Menich, her parents, Stanly and Agnes Durza, her sister, Gloria Janes, and Gloria's husband, Charles. Nancy was born in Chicago, IL. She met her husband Edward while working at Western Electric. She worked at Steketee's for many years. Nancy is survived by two children, Trudy M. Bonner and Charles (Kathleen) Menich; seven grandchildren, Brett, Darryl (Kelly), Renee Bonner, Bryan, Timothy, Christopher, and Erin Menich; two great-granddaughters; Sierra and Emerson Bonner, two nieces; Joy and Darlene Janes. Nancy was Darlene's Godmother. Nancy is a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church. Pastor Robert Appold will be officiating a memorial service at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave., SE, Kentwood on Monday, May 2nd at noon. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service.
