Nadine Harris was born in Chicago, IL, on December 2, 1960, to Jessie and Alice Harris (both preceded her in death).

Nadine attended Henry Horner Elementary School, where she graduated the 8th grade, and went on to attend Wendell Phillips High School.  She welcomed her first child, Ortiz Maurice Harris.  In August of 1979, she entered into holy matrimony to Charles Walker. They welcomed their second child, Chana Vonsha Walker.

Nadine rededicated her life to Christ, and on October 3, 2023, the Lord called her home.

Nadine leaves behind her son, Ortiz Harris (Evelyn); daughter, Chana Walker (Deni); 5 granddaughters: Brionna Harris, Nydeja Harris, Jada Harris, Ciara Harris, and  E'Dawnya Harris; 2 great-grands: Kevin Miller and Amour Miller; 10 brothers and sisters: Jacqueline Howard, Sylvester Miller (deceased), Darlene Harris (deceased), Lionell Harris (Lillie Mae), Denise Wilson (Bobby), Sharon Harris, Marvin Harris (Kelley), Valerie Chavers (Darryl), Jessica Harris, and Raynard Harris (Rozana); and a host of other relatives and friends.
