Obituary

April 24, 2015 Myrtle A. Moerdyke, 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24th, 2015. Myrt was the daughter of Clifford and Margaret Mueller. She graduated from Wyoming High School and Davenport College. She was a member of Calvary Church, enjoying Bible Studies and volunteering whenever she could. Myrt had many accomplishments to be proud of. She was a member of The American Business Woman's Association, authored and published a book at the age of 87 and at 91 still loved to catch up with friends and family thru emails and Facebook on her computer. Myrt spent the last several years of her life living at Maplecreek Lodge, where she participated in many committees and activities. She was given good care and made many friends there, for which the family is thankful. Myrt was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clayton and brother, Wesley Mueller. She is survived by her four children, Pat Bleech of Pompano Beach, FL, Nancy (Lee) Wisehart of Lamar, MO, Tom (Rose) Moerdyke of Cedar Springs, MI, and Joan (Jim) Blodgett of Kentwood, MI. She has 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Barb Mueller and brother in law Andrew (Ida) Moerdyke. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at Fort Custer, Battle Creek, Michigan at a later date.
