Mildred J Chase (Glass), 88, of Gun Lake -Shelbyville, MI, has left us to be with our Lord in Heaven on November 26, 2022.

Millie was born on July 4, 1934 to Adrian and Mildred Hoogerheide in Grand Rapids, MI. She has resided on Gun Lake most of her life which is where she raised her 2 children, and there, she cared for many others over the years as well, and continued to live there until the Lord took her home.

Millie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sue Chase, daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Paul Mucherino, 4 grandchildren, Randy Chase III, Tara (Chase) Abbott, Ronnie Mikolajczyk and Jesse Mikolajczyk, as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Kaden Abbott, Avrum Abbott, Sirius Abbott, Zev Abbott, and Charlotte Chase.

A celebration of her life will be held at Thornapple Valley Church in Hastings, MI on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00am.

Anyone wishing to honor Millie may be so by means of plantable flowers for her Gun Lake home, or by donation to St. Jude's Hospital, her favorite charity, in her honor.
