Mikel Scot Bowers 40 of Wyoming, MI passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2021.

Mikel has been called home to his Heavenly Father after many years of struggles. Mikel is now smiling and at peace in God's heavenly presence.

Mikel was proceeded in death by his maternal Grandparents Wayne & Fran Henderson, paternal Grandparents Donald & Mabel Bowers, his namesake and nephew Mikel Lee Bowers and his Aunt Jayne Klinge.

Mikel was a sensitive soul with a soft spot for the homeless. Mikel did not hesitate to help a homeless person in need while traveling the US as a professional truck driver. Mikel was also a champion for the organization Teen Challenge and didn't miss a chance to talk about his time there and the good that they did. The family would like to thank Teen Challenge acknowledges their support of Mikel and others who had the same struggles.

Mikel's smile, laughter, humor, love of baseball and love of music will be missed by his parents, Craig & Jana Bowers, his brothers Robert Bowers and Keith Bowers (wife, Morgan), nephew Collin, Uncle Dan Bowers, Aunt Judy Bowers (husband, David), Uncle Wayne Henderson (wife, Gena), many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26th at 1:30pm. To honor Mikel's memory and life this will be an alcohol free celebration. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Mikel's life with the family at 5065 Porter Hollow Dr, Rockford MI 49341.
