Rothley, Michelle, 62 Shelly began the next stage of her journey Sunday, May 7, 2017. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, she is survived by her best friend-husband, Rod, favorite son Michael his wife Bridgett Curtis-Rothley, Chuck the most amazing dog ever, Dinky the cat, and grand-pets Marley (Mayhem), Jacquie, and Doughy. She is also survived by brother Wayne Williams (Ann), sister-in-law Vicky Green (Brian), brothers-in-law Craig (Carol), Scott (Carrie), Randy (Robin), and mother-in.-law Shirley Rothley and numerous nieces and nephews. Best friends Joe Carpenter and Dave DeSantis (Gina) enriched her life, and brought much warmth and laughter. Shelly's passion. was fishing, especially for Trout/Salmon. Many of her Zen moments found her on a river, 15 minutes before sunrise. Being epically inept in her pursuit never diminished her quest. Shelly wished to be cremated, and have her ashes scattered on her favorite double-secret fishing spot at a later date.
