Michele Annette Dunning (Morris), 65, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2019. She is survived by her loving daughter Emily Stavrou-Schaefer (Chris), Granddaughter Zoe Stavrou, and siblings Christine Khalil, Dirck Morris (Denise), Gregory Morris (Elaine), Ann Ayers, and Alison Pierce, and many cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends. Michele was a strong woman who single-handedly raised a daughter while working full-time at General Motors for over 30 years as a millwright, which at the time was a predominately male profession. She was known for her moxie and propensity to speak her mind. Michele enjoyed spending time with friends, a good party, and her daughter whom she loved very much.
