Michael J. Walsh, of Plainwell, Michigan, age 67, passed away on Sunday October 1, 2023.

He was born to Francis and Robert Walsh in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He graduated from Gull Lake High School.  He worked as a welder and retired from Graphic Packaging after 40 years.

Mike was married to his wife of 40 years, Linda. They enjoyed spending time together with family and friends and their beloved cats.

He was the youngest of three, with sisters Joan (Robert) Mann of Bath, Michigan, and Cathy (Will) Smith of Delton, Michigan. Other family include brothers-in-law: Ron Schultz of Grand Rapids and Ryan Schultz of Kalamazoo;
nieces and nephews: Lisa (Bert) Briseno of Lansing, Ronald Mann, who preceded Mike in death, Brian (Laura) Smith of Okemos, and Wendy (Brian) Stafford of Schoolcraft.  All were well loved.

Mike had so many interests, including camping, fishing, hunting, hanging with friends, 4 wheeling, and anything outdoors. He especially liked riding his motorcycle with the wind in his beard.  Mike was an excellent cook too. Cooking over an open fire was his favorite.  Everyone loved his brisket and salmon on the grill.

Michael is and will be greatly missed. He was taken away from us way too early.
