Michael (Mike) Melvin Taylor of Grandville/Kentwood, passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 62 after a 12-year battle with cancer.

Mike was born December 10, 1962, to Violet (Vi) Ingersoll and Melvin (Mel) Taylor. Mike is survived by his wife, Judith Richter and his son, Michael William Taylor, daughters, Courtney Tay-lor, Danielle Taylor, Brittney Taylor and Leah Taylor and many grandchildren that were the apple of his eye and brought him great happiness. Mike was proud to have served in the US Marines.

He was one of nine children including brothers, Steve Patterson, Rick and Patty Patterson, Mitchell and Karen Taylor, Mark and Missy Taylor, sisters Melva Taylor, Melinda and Rene Ortega, Lisa and Robert Frank, Cheryl Guerra. He also had many nieces and nephews who loved him deeply. Mike has many, many friends in all walks of life.

He will be greatly missed by many including his church, family, friends and his Christian motorcycle group and their ice cream rides. He loved God deeply, his family and friends immensely and his motorcycle greatly.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be at Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. Kentwood, MI 49508 on Wednesday December 18, 2024, from 4-8 pm.
