Michael Virdel Scott, born October 2nd, 1960 of Grand Rapids formerly of Saginaw, went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2021, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Mike enjoyed sports being around family, friends, and watching TV. He had a heart of gold and was loved by anyone that knew him. He loves to cherish his wife, Bonita Scott, one sister Tracey Scott of Grand Rapids, one brother Ricky Scott of Saginaw, three daughters Crystal (Matthew), Franklin of Racine, WI, Jennifer (Steve) Ryan of Kentwood MI, Lisa (David) Fields of Wyoming, five grandchildren, Shyann, Isaiah, Brandon, Arrianna, and Alivia.

Mike has left a host of relatives and friends, a special friend Avon Morris.

He is preceded in death by his father Paul Scott, his mother Gertrude Davis, 2 sisters Mary Scott, and Paulette Johnson, 2 brothers Willie Scott and Vergus Scott, and a niece Shavika Johnson.

Mike will be forever in our hearts gone too soon. We would like to thank Spectrum Hospice of West Michigan for all their care and concern.

A Service will be on Saturday May 15th, at 1:00PM at Greater Christ Temple Church, with Pastor Mattie Ford officiating.
