Michael Munn of Grand Rapids, Michigan age 51, passed away on April 17th, 2023. He was born to Dewey and Annette Munn, in Columbus Ohio.

Michael was born the second oldest of three children. He grew up gravitating towards creative expression. He was known for his artistic abilities, spanning across various mediums and styles including a love for music, dancing, drawing, painting, writing, barbering just to name a few. His friends would call him Master Munn because he was naturally skilled at a number of things. Later his gifts led him to attend Kendall College of Art and Design. Though he did not graduate, his work was recognized and displayed because of his level of talent and skill within his cohort. His work as an artist not only brought beauty into the world but is also something he passed on to his children by way of natural inheritance. His gift for artistic expression will continue through his kids in one way or another.

Michael is survived by his two sisters Bethany and Farren and his children Cameron, Frances, Michael Jr. and Jade. He was preceded in death by his Mother Annette. The family would like to thank Trinity Health for their care and compassion during his final hospital visit.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 6:00pm-8:30pm on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 219 Brown Street SE Grand Rapids MI 49507. This is also where flowers can be sent to the family to share sympathy.
Michael's memory will live on through his family and friends, as well as in the hearts of those he inspired with his talent and warm spirit. We will always remember and cherish the moments we shared with Michael, whose presence brought laughter and color into our lives. As we mourn the loss of this unforgettable individual, we also celebrate his life. Rest in peace, Mike. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved and knew you.
