It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael David DiRosa on August 16, 2023. Born on October 21, 1970, Michael was raised and educated in Westland, Michigan. He embarked from there on a journey that left an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched. In his youth, Michael came into his own showing horses. In 1986, he earned national junior reserve champion honors atop his beloved Caesar's Loot. As a young adult, Michael expressed vision beautifully through interior and exterior décor. His homes and those of his loved ones testify to his enduring sense of style. Michael's creative spirit also led him to become a talented hair stylist, with his scissors and creativity transforming numerous clients in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Oak Park, Illinois. Beyond his recreational and professional life, Michael's true gift was his innate ability to bring people together and infuse every gathering with fun and laughter.

Michael's zest for life was infectious, and his vivacious spirit attracted friends from every corner of his journey. From Westland and Ann Arbor to Oak Park and Saugatuck, Michigan, he forged connections and made new friends with his magnetic personality. Michael was the heartbeat of any gathering. Michael's relationships held a special place. He was the treasured husband of Darren K. Jones and the beloved son of Vincent DiRosa. Michael's memory will be cherished by his brothers, Jim, Randy, and Jeff DiRosa and sister-in-law Debbie DiRosa.

He was preceded in passing by his mother, Sharon DiRosa, whose love and guidance shaped his character. Surviving Joneses blessed by Michael's life include mother-in-law Carolyn, and brother/sisters-in-law Edward, Andrea, and Felicia.
