Mr. Michael Faran Boyle, age 60, of Wyoming, Michigan passed away a few days short of his 61st birthday on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian-vehicle accident that occurred earlier in the week.

Mike was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 10, 1959 to Barbara Reed Boyle and the late James Boyle.

Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the great outdoors. He was a history and geography buff and always had interesting tidbits about Michigan and the U.S. to share. He had a wealth of knowledge, was a good "tour guide", voluntarily showing others around his hometown and state or recommending great places to visit. He loved animals. He didn't know a stranger, always quick to make a new friend or strike up an interesting conversation. He enjoyed comedy, had a great laugh, and was always smiling. His sense of humor will be missed. He loved movies, some favorites being John Wayne westerns or old war movies. He had a calm demeanor, a sharp mind, and could tell a good story from his hunting days. He loved spending time with his family, and they all loved him dearly as well.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Boyle of Grand Rapids, MI, brothers Patrick Boyle of Chicago, IL and Dennis (Debby) Boyle of Hudsonville, MI, sisters Kelly Boyle of Wyoming, MI and Karen (Randy) Gallman of Calhoun, GA, 8 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

The family will hold a private memorial on Monday, October 12th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, or the charity of your choice.
