Michael Allen Bailey, 62, of Norton Shores died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home after a long illness. He was born October 9, 1959 in Grand Haven to the late Larry Bailey and Carol (Kanouse) Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his sister Candy Jonio.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie (Lubrico) Bailey, his brother Timothy Bailey (Lynn) and his sister Robin Currier (Donald). His two son's, Patrick Bailey (Sheila), Bryon Bailey and daughter Dana Chadwick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and 7 grandchildren.

Michael coached many baseball and football youth leagues, coached women's softball and loved to umpire. His favorite pastime was golfing and he enjoyed golfing with his brother and sister-in-law. He proudly served his country in the US Navy as a Fire Control Technician.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Aug. 18 from 3pm - 6pm at the VFW Post 3195, 5209 Grand Haven Rd., Norton Shores. At 4pm there will be an Honor Guard presentation. Service Details.
