Our dear son, brother, uncle and friend, Matthew Ryan Warzyski, passed away December 8, 2023.  Matthew was born in Springfield, MA on November 22, 1985 and in 1990 his family moved to Grand Rapids, MI.  Matthew graduated from Northview High School, graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an Associate in Arts degree and then attended Davenport College, receiving a Bachelor of Business.  Matthew was always a hard worker, delivering newspapers in elementary school, later on working in restaurants and lastly at Brink's.  He also served proudly as a Sergeant for 8 years in the Michigan National Guard.  As a young boy, Matthew had leukemia at age 6 and in 2010 was diagnosed with an atypical brain meningioma.  Over the years, he had four brain surgeries and clinical trials in Grand Rapids and Chicago, always brave and putting up a relentless fight.  Matthew was always thankful for time spent with family, especially his sister and with friends. Those precious times provided him time to think about something else than his daily discomfort and pain.  He really loved going to movies, eating out and playing video games.

Matthew is survived by his mother and father, Michael and Karen Warzynski, his sister Jennifer (Zachary) Fisher, his nephews Brody and Kelby and his niece Gracie.  Preceded in death by his infant brother David Charles who died in Chicago.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
