Maryann passed away January 13, 2024, with her children at her side from injuries sustained in an auto accident January 9th as she was returning from her favorite activity, bowling.

She was born in Holland, Michigan to Richard and Anna VanderYacht.  In 1958, she married Ralph Springett and together they raised a family in South Haven and "up north" at their cabin near the Sauble River.  Maryann was the secretary at Maple Grove Elementary School for over 30 years and was known as "mother to all."  After Ralph passed away, Maryann answered a personal ad and met the second love of her life, Duane Langston.  Following retirement, they moved "up north" and enjoyed watching the birds, deer, and turkeys in their yard.  They also loved dancing, bowling, and wintering in Florida.  Maryann and Duane were married 25 years when he preceded her to heaven in 2019.

Maryann is survived by her children, Kim (Derek) Stark, Barb (Tim) Trombley, Rick Springett and step-daughter, Debbie Winford.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Jeremy, Amber, Brian, Promise (Tony), Ricky, Kenny, Jonathan (Hannah), and Jameson, as well as 5 great grandchildren, Tanner, Jayden, Mason, Clayton, and Kyle, several nieces and nephews, and many good friends, including the ladies of the Tuesday Brunch Bunch bowling league.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ralph and Duane, and brothers, Ron, Terry, and Wayne.

A celebration of Maryann's life will be held on May 4th.
