Mary Gloria Knutson, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born on February 2, 1957, to Gloria Evans and Benjamin Cerajewski, Mary's life was a testament to her generous spirit and dedication to her loved ones. Mary's life will be celebrated by her family, who take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched. She is survived by her husband, Michael Knutson; her children, Jennifer, Julia, and son-in-law Nik; and her siblings, Mark, Susan, Lisa, and Christi. Mary's presence was a gift to us all, and though she has departed from this world, her light will never fade. As we bid farewell to Mary Gloria Knutson, we hold tight to the love she shared and the lessons she taught us. Her journey on earth may have ended, but her story will continue to be told by those who loved her most. Rest in peace, Mary, until we meet again. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 16, 2025 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd St SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. Mary's family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am until the time of Mass Monday at the church. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
