Hanson, Mary, 94, passed away in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 24th. She is survived by her children, Charlene "Saunie" (Elliott) Rich, Joanne (Michael) Clement, James (Marina) Hanson, Karen (Bill) Thompson; grand-children, Jeremy (Jennifer) Batson, Colin Clement, Amanda Clement, Elise Neveau, Anna Neveau; great-grand-child, Jude Batson, and many other family members. Mary was an avid cook and skilled seamstress. She can easy be described as a social butterfly, she loved people. Visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, October 29th from 6-9PM with a rosary at 8PM, Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th at 11 AM, at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 1213 52nd St SE, Grand Rapids, with an hour of visitation prior to the 11AM mass. Burial will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 11:30AM at St. Lawrence cemetery in Utica, Michigan.
