April 16, 2014 Service: April 22, 2014 Mary Ann Ellis passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday April 16th. She has been looking forward to heaven and being reunited with her husband Grant. She is survived by her sons and their spouses; Grant and Molly, Dave and Ruth, Bob and Anne, Bill and Nancy; ten grandchildren; Stephanie, Katie (David), David (Aubree), Elisabeth (Billy), Tim (Ann-Marie), Blair, Brent, Rachael (Darren), John (Ashley), Claire (Ryan); fourteen great grandchildren; William, Wyatt, Tessa, Josephine, Aila, Louisa, Grant, Graham, Timothy, Meredith, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Bexley, Palmer and three on the way. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an accomplished artist in both water color and oils. She worked for many years at Aquinas College in the Athletic Department and had a great love for the college. Mary Ann was a lifelong member of St. Stephen's church. The family would like to thank the many friends and family for their prayerful support and the care given to her by the caregivers from Leaves Personal Care. While we the family are sad at her passing we are grateful for her life and cherish the memories she left us with. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am on Tuesday, April 22 at St. Stephen's Church. Her family will greet friends Monday from 7-9pm at the Ofield Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the Aquinas College Athletic Department.
