Mary Brainard, 87, of Hopkins passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on July 8, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Nellie Green and sister Kathy Green.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 69 years, Gordon; daughter Ruthie; son Bub (Brenda); grandchildren Tony (Stacey), David (Jennifer), Whitney, Aaron (Britany), and Cody (Katie); great-grandchildren Kelli, Joshua, Samantha, Skylar, and Nick; brothers and sister Jack and Carleen Hartman, Albert Sonny Green, Elizabeth (Sookey) Teed; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary loved her family and her cat Sugar. She also loved to cook and bake.
A small family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan.
The family would like to thank the Wings of Hope Hospice for their excellent care for the past two years.
