Martha Jane Calhoun(Hoffman), 97, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side, on July 14 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Martha was born on February 2, 1924 in Hardy, Arkansas to Isaiah and Bessie Hoffman. Martha was particularly proud of her successful career in Healthcare, which started and spanned many years at South Shore Hospital in Chicago and then continued for many years in Kalamazoo. Besides spending time with friends and family, Martha liked to crochet, do crossword puzzles, read The Bible and work in the garden. She loved to cook and made the best fried potatoes and gravy.

Martha is survived by her daughters Doris Collins of Niles, Ruby(Alex) Buentello of Mattawan and daughter-in-law Laura Jones of Paw Paw; Grandchildren Larry Lathrop of Bonita Springs, Florida, Gordon(Angee) Ramlow of Kalamazoo, Jerry(Nicole) McCord of Kalamazoo, Krin Kendall of Niles, Cathy(Chad) Worthington of Jones, Sam(Destri) Garrison of Kalamazoo and Thomas Garrison of Toledo, Ohio; several great grandchildren and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings and her son, Thomas Jones.
