Mark W. Stache, age 57, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in Grand Rapids, MI from acute myeloid leukemia.

Mark was born June 29, 1964 in Armour, South Dakota. He was the son of Pastor William and Doreen Stache of Columbus.

Mark attended St. Peter's Lutheran school and graduated from Columbus East High School in 1982. He was a 1986 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering and received his MBA in 1991 from IU Kelly School of Business.

He married Kristen Margarites in Westmont, IL on October 1, 1988.

Mark was employed at Delco Electronics in Kokomo for five years and then at Prince/Johnson Control in Holland, MI for 18 years. He later became a registered nurse and received his BSN in nursing. He was a Patient Care Manager for Metro Health in Jenison, MI at the time of his death.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Kristen, and his three children: Derek of San Diego, CA, Jonathan and Emma of Hudsonville; his parents Bill and Doreen Stache of Columbus; his brother, Tim Stache and his wife Ginger of High Ridge, MO; and his sister Jill Baker and her husband Jeff of Columbus, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many, many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant Community Church on Saturday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. in Hudsonville, MI. Service Details.
