Mark Douglas Morris, age 62, entered his heavenly home on Sunday, December 31, 2017 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Morris and Hilda Yvonne McElhaney, step-mother Barbara J. Morris. Mark was born on October 3, 1955, in Allegan, MI. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his children: Mariah (Kalin) Liggon, Mark Lucas Morris and Zakari Morris, grandsons Jaylen Banister, Jamir Banister and Damien Cole Mort; siblings Mike (Sarita) Morris, Gerry (Karen) Morris, Donald (Patricia) Morris, Brenda (Ward) Hawley; Liz Bates, Bette Morris, Tabitha Morris, Bob and Tammy Zuiderveen; and several nieces and nephews. After graduating from Allegan High School, Mark proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee. Mark was a talented artist and painter and enjoyed sharing his artwork with family and friends. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.
